Masiullah Jahed (Founder and CEO)
“Since leaving Afghanistan, and as the director of the GGOP, my team and I have been working very hard to achieve the organization’s goals by turning to virtual solutions. These days, what keeps me up at night, is thinking about how my organization can rally further support, financial and otherwise, to help more Afghan female students who are denied such a primary right – their education. Yes, hundreds of girls are learning through our online courses as I write, but hundreds more are left with little choice but to patiently wait and hope we can pull together the needed resources. It can sometimes seem impossible, but we will not stop trying.”

Features
600 individuals have used our service directly. Currently, we have several 22 classes for Afghan girls, 350 students from 7th to 9th grade, and 200 students from 10th to 12 grade. Besides that, with our program for refugees in Pakistan, we helped 50 students with funding for their English proficiency test.
We take pride in the fact that all of our teachers are female, aligning with our commitment to women’s empowerment. This not only creates job opportunities for young women but also fosters a conducive environment for students to collaborate and communicate effectively.
So far we had offerd 22 classes where our dedicated female teachers instruct students in subjects such as English, Physics, and Chemistry. These classes cater to female students who are unable to attend school due to the ongoing restrictions in Afghanistan.
